Patna: The Bihar administration headed by Samrat Choudhary on Sunday executed a significant bureaucratic overhaul, shifting 12 senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers and posting them to important roles in the Finance, Tourism, Health, Disaster Management, and Social Welfare departments.

The extensive administrative reshuffle also resulted in two notable officers – Kumar Ravi and Chandrashekhar Singh – being reassigned from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), signaling a major adjustment in the state’s administrative structure.

As per a notification released by the General Administration Department, multiple important departments have been allotted new secretaries and principal secretaries.

The reassignment of Kumar Ravi and Chandrashekhar Singh from the Chief Minister’s Office is being regarded as one of the most notable features of the reshuffle, with Lokesh Kumar Singh taking on added duties in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.
